In December 2021, Fundación Mar y Ciencia was awarded the "Public Science Fund for the Dissemination and Socialization of Knowledge 2021-2022" with its Oceanic Heroines project, an illustrated card board game that seeks to generate playful learning opportunities about the ocean and the scientists who study it. Among the central objectives is to promote curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, socialization and appropriation of scientific, technological and innovation topics on marine ecosystems.
